A nine week course on re-enchanting your life, developed and instructed by Rhyd Wildermuth

In a world of uncertainty, political upheaval, climate change, and endless consumerism, and in alienated societies bereft of meaning and connection to nature or community, what does it mean to be Pagan?

This course, developed and instructed by Druid, writer, and Gods&Radicals Press co-founder Rhyd Wildermuth, explores the core beliefs and practices of Pagan and animist belief to guide the participant into re-enchanting their worlds and reconnecting to ancient currents that have never truly gone away.

Through readings, videos, and group discussions, we’ll look at the 9 threads of connection essential to not just calling oneself Pagan but actually being Pagan.

  • Connection to Pagan Time (the rhythms of the moon, of seasons, and of non-linear time)

  • Connection to Body (what it means to be a body, not just have a body)

  • Connection to Land (direct experience with nature and place)

  • Connection to Plants & Animals (deepening our relationship to those who share the earth with us)

  • Connection to the Other (integrating the unconscious, dreams, and the imaginal into the waking world)

  • Connection to Ancestors (becoming grounded in and understanding the people and stories that create us)

  • Connection to Gods and Spirits (understanding, honoring, and being in relationship with those unseen)

  • Connection to Will (reclaiming your agency and enchanting a dis-enchanted world)

This course is ideal both for those new to Paganism as well as those seeking to re-center their beliefs and practices away from capitalist and mass-marketed ideas and towards something deeper. No prior knowledge or academic experience is required.

“The Witch has been created by the land to act for it.”
--Peter Grey, Rewilding Witchcraft

Land is how we live. We live on the land, we live because of land, and when we die we go back into the land.

Yet land, in our modern capitalist dystopia, is often the farthest thing from our mind. Few of us even have access to land—everywhere it is fenced off, paved over, gated, polluted, and destroyed.

How did it come to this? How did the notion of private property come about? Why were so many people displaced from the land through enclosures, the transatlantic slave trade, and brutal colonization?

And what has this done to us?

In this six week online course, writer, artist, and Gods&Radicals co-founder Alley Valkyrie will lead you through the history and meaning of land, illuminate the processes and politics that caused our separation from land, and guide you to spiritual reconnection and political reclamation of the land beneath our feet.

Alley Valkyrie’s course will cover the following topics:

  • Week One: The Importance of Land

  • Week Two: Lost Land—Enclosures & Property

  • Week Three: Lost Land—Displacement and Colonialism

  • Week Four: Land—Its spirits and Peoples

  • Week Five: Spiritual Reconnection to Land

  • Week Six: Political Reclamation of Land

A course developed and instructed by Asa West.

In an era of climate change and late capitalism, when everything sacred is paved over or commodified, how do you attune yourself to the rhythms of nature? How do you listen for--and hear--the language of the land on which you live? How do you push your magical practice beyond rote rituals into true communion with the spirits around you?

Using ritual, trance, spellwork, and lots of time in nature, this 5-week course will explore what it means to practice authentic green witchcraft. We'll use the lenses of unity, liminality, embodiment, reciprocity, and silence to explore animism, folk deities, wortcunning, and other aspects of this deep and joyful path.

The course is divided into five parts, each focusing on one of the core principles of Green Witchcraft.

  • The forest speaks with one voice (Animism, the egregore, spirits of place, and attention as magical practice)

  • Twilight precedes starlight (Liminality, starlight vision, hedgeriding, altered states, and magic as harnessing infinite possibility)

  • Witchcraft lives in the body (The 3 selves, virtue, working with deity, moving and manipulating energy)

  • The witch always pays their coin (Reciprocity and balance, devotion versus exploitation, spellwork theory

  • The Goddess reveals herself in silence (Living a witch’s life, the witches’ pyramid, the egregore revisited)

All participants will receive a digital copy of the primary text, Five Principles of Green Witchcraft by Asa West. In addition to class chat discussions and videos, participants will receive weekly homework assignments.

We cannot trust those in power to have our best interests at heart, and the last few months have shown us that authorities are downright deadly when the going gets tough and people rise up. As such, we must rely on ourselves for our own protection and to forge the kind of society and world we want to live in.

This three week course, taught by Emma Kathryn, is designed to give participants the basic tools of rebellion and resistance by focusing upon our own resilience outside of the capitalist system. Through video lectures and discussion, we’ll discuss the three cores of resilience:

  • Self-Reliance: through personal and communal work, as well as food security

  • Self-Care: through connection to land, magic, and the body,
