SITE SUBMISSIONS

Gods&Radicals Press is always looking for new writing! We’re particularly interested in essays, poetry, and journalistic pieces which elucidate the intersections between anti-capitalism and pagan, heathen, and indigenous spirituality. Environmental and political issues, anti-imperialist and decolonial struggles, theory, reviews, DIY culture, and works of prose or poetry on polytheist & animist belief and practice are also what we really love finding in our inbox! We’d also particularly like to hear from writers with under-represented voices, especially from the Global South.

Also, did we mention that we pay for previously unpublished work?

To submit, please send an email to us with a completed piece (sorry, we get too many completed submissions to answer pitches) in .odt or .docx format. Send the email to Editor [at] Godsandradicals.org and include the subject heading SITE SUBMISSION. Please allow a minimum of seven days for a reply, as we are often quite inundated.

Manuscript Submissions

Gods&Radicals Press publishes 4-8 titles each year and we’re actively accepting queries for new works. Please first browse our current book offerings to get an idea of what we publish, but if your work falls outside these themes you are absolutely welcome to send us a query regardless. Please also read our paragraph on site submissions above to see which topics and voices are particularly interesting to us.

To contact us with a query, please send us an email containing a brief introduction of yourself, a short synopis of your work, and the first 20 pages (or first two chapters, whichever fits best) of your manuscript attaches as an .odt or .docx file. Send this email with the subject heading MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION to distro [@] abeautifulresistance.com, and please allow a minimum of two weeks for an initial reply.

REVIEW REQUESTS, OR TO CONTACT A WRITER

To request a review copy of our works or to offer us a review copy of a work you represent, or to contact a specific writer, please email Editor [at] godsandradicals.org and include the subject heading PRESS. Please allow up to seven days for a reply. For messages to writers, we will forward your email to them, but please note that our writers are busy folks who may not be able to reply to you.
